**About the role**
We are looking for a Booking Coordinator to join our F&B Administration team for a 12-month secondment opportunity. To be successful in the role you will need a friendly, professional attitude coupled with a commitment to delivering a high level of guest service.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Accurately receive and record reservations requests and general enquiries
- Qualifying event / group enquiries via phone
- Coordinate and attend site inspections with clients
- Monitor advance deposits for group bookings ensuring that recording of the deposits is completed in an accurate and timely manner
- Utilisation of relevant software (e.g. ResPak) for internal communication and maintenance of client files
- Train other team members as appropriate in the use of relevant software with a view to maximising reservations
- Ensure SOPs regarding group bookings, events, and functions at venues across property reflect current practice
- Assist Events and Sales team members with relevant administration
- Provide administrative support including handling of incoming and outgoing mail, internal paperwork, invoice management through internal systems, database management, and other office duties such as collating documents / archiving and arranging courier requirements
- Document accurate minutes at meetings with relevant internal and external stakeholders and distribute accordingly
- Represent The Star at applicable functions and events
- Assist venue managers with special events
- Ensure familiarity and knowledge of the property and current promotions

- Thorough knowledge of The Star Sydney venues and entertainment offerings
- High attention to detail and strong time management skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
