**About us**

BLC QLD have a specialist maintenance division servicing Government and Commercial clients, and we are looking for a Maintenance Handyman/Carpenter to join our team.

**About the Role**
This is a full-time, ongoing role based in the **Logan region**, with standard hours **Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm** (some overtime may be available). This is a mobile role, requiring travel to various client sites—**a current driver’s licence is essential**.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Respond to and resolve maintenance requests promptly and professionally
- General handyman duties including:

- Repairing fences and gates
- Fixing benches
- Installing signage
- Working with timber and Colorbond/metal sheeting
- Site and depot clean-ups
- Work independently or as part of a team
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with WHS procedures
- Communicate effectively with your project manager and site contacts

**Requirements**:

- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Previous experience in a maintenance or handyman role
- Carpentry experience and timber work skills essential (Trade Certificate in Carpentry desirable)
- Ability to work outdoors and adapt to varying tasks and environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to show initiative
