**The Client**

**The Position**

In this operations role, you will be responsible for "hands on" operational processes and:

- Control the import or export of air and sea cargo requirements and movements for a global client base
- Monitor and report cargo status from origin to delivery
- Resolve any potential or actual service issues
- Liaise extensively with overseas and local offices, internal departments and carriers
- Deliver exceptional customer service through attention to detail and strong time management within deadlines

**The Requirements**

It is essential you have proven:

- Strong or some operational knowledge working for a freight forwarder
- Understanding of the import and/or export process including customs requirements and transport co-ordination
- Attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Focus on customer requirements
- Full time and permanent Australian work rights
