**The new program**:
Pathways to Change (PTC) is an innovative 8-week online group program designed for individuals who have used violence in their intimate relationships. The program focuses on promoting accountability, fostering empathy, and equipping participants with practical tools to build healthier, non-violent relationships.
Respondents are court ordered to attend counselling sessions which includes an intake session, 6 group counselling sessions and a safety and support session on exit.
**Your role**:
Our 2 Team Leaders must provide strong supervision and reflective practice for a team that will most likely all work from home. There will be 2 teams made up of around 6 Counsellors and a Senior Family Worker. You will need to have the ability and skill to lead your teams remotely, as well as stand in for groups from time to time, those groups run until 7:30pm.
This program will grow and develop over time so you need to be agile in your approach. Through consultation with the team, reflective practice and supervision we will work with you to so that you can provide feedback and suggest improvements and let us know what is working so the program delivers the greatest impact.
**Make your Mark**:
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or Family Violence.
- You need to be a strong leader who is comfortable leading a team remotely.
- We are looking to hire a diverse team bringing skills and experience from a number of different areas, Justice, Corrections, Mental Health, Disability, LGBTQIA+, Social Work, Family Violence, Men’s Behaviour Change.
- The program will develop and adapt over time with your feedback, this is an opportunity to contribute to program development.
- Agility, adaptive thinking, flexibility to change, the willingness to try new approaches and a strong team work ethic will help you thrive in this role.
