Program Manager

Join a leading health research organisation driving global impact in child health. This is a rare opportunity to manage a high-profile, multidisciplinary research program that includes the internationally renowned Malaria Atlas Project. You will play a key role in driving operational excellence, and supporting innovative research in a supportive, purpose-driven team.
**The Opportunity**
Some of your duties include, but are not limited to:
- Lead program governance, finance, contracts, and risk management across diverse research streams.
- Manage collaboration with high-level global stakeholders, including WHO, BMGF, and other major funders.
- Champion inclusive leadership, staff development, and high-performing team culture.
- Oversee the MAP Advisory Board and contribute to Institute-wide initiatives.
**About You**
You are experienced and organised with a passion for supporting research that drives real-world impact. You have the ability to work across large, multidisciplinary teams with confidence and empathy, and your strong project and financial management skills ensure nothing gets missed.
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in program or project management in a research or health environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across global collaborations.
- Strong leadership and people development capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
- A self-starter with outstanding time management and organisational skills.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (Master’s degree and/or PM certification desirable).
