You'll find our 350+ team currently across 9 locations and time zones. **The Role** As a **Transaction Reporting Specialist** at Pepperstone, you'll spearhead the ongoing enhancement of our global transaction reporting responsibilities. In this essential position, you will offer your specialized knowledge across various jurisdictions, guaranteeing that our reporting is precise, prompt, and compliant. You will take charge of incorporating new reporting providers and play a vital role in refining our existing control frameworks. Your expertise will be crucial in fostering compliance and driving innovation within the team, ensuring seamless operations as we adapt to changing regulations. You will also work in close partnership with our Legal and Compliance teams to keep our processes robust and current. This is a fantastic opportunity to create a real impact and advance your career in a vibrant, forward-thinking environment. **Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to** - Ensuring that Pepperstone meets its global transaction reporting obligations through diligent processing and monitoring. - Taking the lead in integrating new transaction reporting providers seamlessly. - Offering specialized analytical support to regulatory change initiatives, including the coordination of testing efforts. - Monitoring and refining the team's processes and controls to guarantee ongoing compliance with regulations, collaborating closely with our Legal and Compliance Departments on interpretations related to regulatory changes and reporting. - Strengthening the control framework surrounding our existing transaction reporting processes. - Conducting and documenting regular reconciliations to uphold accuracy. - Managing the transaction reporting relationship with third-party vendors effectively. - Providing timely and precise Management Information (MI) to Technology and Compliance leadership. - Preparing and distributing management reports and incident documentation. **About you** - In-depth understanding of transaction reporting operations. - At least 3 years of hands-on experience with EMIR, MiFIR, and ASIC derivatives transaction reporting. - Proficient in interpreting regulatory rule changes and aligning them with requirements. - Solid working knowledge of OTC Derivative products. - Demonstrated success in process enhancements and project execution. - Excellent communication and organizational abilities, essential for collaborating with both local and remote Technology, Compliance, and Operations stakeholders. - Current full working rights in Australia **Why you will enjoy working with us** - Competitive salary structure including company bonus scheme - Genuinely collaborative and friendly culture - Flexible and hybrid working - Remote working option - work from anywhere for up to 6 weeks per year, in addition to hybrid working as standard - Ongoing personal development & learning opportunities - 15 weeks paid primary carers parental leave & 4 weeks paid secondary carers leave - 3 paid volunteering days per year & Workplace Giving Program - Frequent events and celebrations including a standard weekly social - Beautifully renovated large office at Collins Square - 727 Collins Street, Melbourne - Best in class end of trip facilities including bicycle parking, change rooms & showers - A full stocked kitchen, onsite coffee machines with locally sourced coffee beans (this is Melbourne after all) and curated specialty teas **More about Pepperstone** We understand it's important to do due diligence on a prospective employer, see what our team are saying on Glassdoor.
