**About the Role**
An exciting opportunity to join BOQ Group (which includes Bank of Queensland, Virgin Money Australia and ME Bank) as a Business Improvement Manager has arrived

A newly created opportunity currently exists to join BOQ’s Group Process Optimisation team which has recently been established to optimise group process maturity and performance to enable more efficient and effective ways of working.

The purpose of the Business Improvement Manager is to support the Group Process Optimisation (GPO) team to design future state processes and uplifts to current state process. You will enhance the customer and employee experience by using data from various sources to drive proactive uplifts to process, systems, behaviour and culture change as well as effective risk management. In this role, you will work in partnership with the GPO team and internal stakeholders to deliver continuous improvement for end-to-end business processes, being directly responsible for process efficiency gains along with improvement in the end-to-end value chain, customer and employee experience measures of the business.

Your key accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Monitoring customer experience and internal business processes and metrics to proactively identify improvements.
- Working cross functionally to ensure that objectives of the business are delivered on time, within budget and that the stated benefits are achieved.
- In conjunction with relevant stakeholders, design relevant processes to support new change initiatives.
- Leading the implementation of uplifts and changes by working closely with the Operations Customer Experience and Change Manager using the appropriate Change Governance methodology and procedures.
- Ensuring appropriate governance protocols and change procedures are completed both through the change process and post the change implementation.

**About you**
You’ll join us with experience in banking and finance, coming from a change management consulting function. You will have strong change leadership experience, driving efficiencies for better outcomes, with exposure in risk environments and in the design of key risk controls through to monitoring and maintenance of the implemented controls.

You will thrive on working in a fast paced and constantly growing environment, having the ability to influence and resolve ambiguous problems and managing multiple requirements effectively. Extensive Voice of the Customer and Customer Experience knowledge coupled with an enquiring mind that has a keen interest to investigate inefficiencies for root cause analysis will see you succeed in this role.
