**ABOUT THE ROLE**
TAFE NSW are seeking an Education Support Officer to work within the Carpentry section based at Wollongbar & Kingscliff Campus. The role is responsible for providing tutoring support to learners studying the Certificate III in Carpentry as advised by a teacher. The role does not include teaching or the preparation of lessons or resources and does not deliver training nor undertake assessments.
In the role, you will work closely to supplement the teaching activities by providing follow-up instruction as provided by a teacher and opportunities to practice skills to enhance the educative experience and engagement.

**ABOUT YOU**

**To be successful in this role you must**:

- Have a minimum of three (3) years relevant and post-qualification experience in the industry relevant to your qualification. With the ability to understand the content of the learning materials and the processes used in the delivery of CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry.
- Crucial to the role will be your high-level interpersonal and communication skills, including your ability to be proactive and show initiative.
