Service Area Manager

APM delivers Local Area Co-ordination (LAC) services as a Partner in the Community with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
In this role you will lead and coordinate the LAC Participant Access, Plan Implementation and Support services in North Metro, Central South Metro and Inner Wheatbelt service areas to achieve and exceed the objectives of the LAC program.
As a Service Area Manager your role is to lead, plan, organise, resource, coordinate the Service Area to ensure that the requirements of the NDIS are met, as well as:
- Mentor, coach and manage a team of 6 team leaders, and their team.
- Ensuring correct staffing resources are in place across all your service area and they are fully training to delivery excellent service to NDIS participants and people with disabilities
- Ensuring compliance with all contractual requirements, KPIs, policy, and processes,
- Contribute to the development of business area strategy, operational planning, and reporting,
- Strive for continuous improvement with systems and processes to maximise efficiency,
- Regular local engagement with stakeholders at the National Disability Insurance Agency and in the community.

You will be an inspiring leader, who sets the vision, are passionate and energetic about leading your team to perform at the highest level to maintain APM’s strong reputation in the sector
You will also have:
- Previous experience in leading a large teams delivering programs in the disability sector,
- Managing NDIS similar to LAC highly regarded
- Strong personal values based on empathy and compassion, and ability to understand diverse needs of individuals within your local community,
- Good communication skills including the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders,
- High level of computer skills including excel and customer management systems
- Demonstrated ability to meet organisational targets and deadlines.
