**Your new role**

As an AS05 Communications Advisor, you will work on a temporary contract for a period of 3 to 6 months, starting immediately. This role involves creating, developing, and executing strategic communication plans to enhance the departments image and reach.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Developing and implementing effective communication strategies and plans.
- Supporting the Marketing and Communications team with various initiatives.
- Monitoring and evaluating the impact of communications activities.
- Coordinating and managing public and media responses.
- Creating relevant content for various platforms, including websites, social media, and press releases.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience in communication planning and execution.
- Proven ability in drafting and editing high-quality content.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using a range of digital tools and platforms.
- A current national police clearance.
