About the Role

We have an exciting full-time opportunity for an Executive Assistant based in Blackburn. Responsible for providing a full range of executive support, this role requires a high level of confidentiality, professionalism and stakeholder engagement. The role is pivotal to productive time management of the Head of Strategy & Enterprise Projects group.

Working within a high functioning team, the key focus includes:

- Liaising and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders regarding requests and matters for action, referral or response;
- Coordinate the effective onboarding and offboarding of contract resources within the department alongside relevant partners;
- Developing a range of draft reports, documents and presentations, and prepare agendas and meeting outcomes;
- Arranging events, conferences, meetings and catering;
- Managing administrative processes such as invoices, expenses, booking travel/accommodation and submitting IT and facilities requests;
- Operating in an organised and expeditious manner with focus for delivery within compressed deadlines;
- Ensuring sound document control and record management of key information is maintained via filing and retrieval systems;

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have an ability to stay one step ahead of workflow. While not essential, a business qualification such as Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration would be favourable.
- Demonstrated relevant equivalent experience, knowledge and skills as a PA or EA mandatory
- Proven professional experience supporting senior leadership roles in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships;
- Technically capable with advanced knowledge of O365 and remote collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive;
- Ability to work decisively under pressure with a sense of urgency
- Strong attention to detail, excellent time management and written and verbal communications skills;
- Ability to work autonomously
