**Salary - **Clerk Grade 7/8, $106,025 to $117,363 p.a. plus employers’ contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading**
**Your role**
Your role will be to co-ordinate and implement community engagement and communications activities, to promote the Step Together Helpline and the Engagement and Support Program (ESP) for the Countering Violent Extremism Engagement and Support Unit, within the Interventions and Innovations branch.
**What you’ll do**
Day to day your role will be to maintain and develop strong partnerships with community organisations and service providers to support referrals from the Step Together Helpline and the ESP. Facilitate the production of communications content across a variety of formats to deliver the department's communications strategy and to inform and influence the community on countering violent extremism and uphold the department’s reputation among key stakeholders.
**What we’re looking for**
This position is ideal for a dynamic, motivated communications professional with a proven track record in developing and delivering impactful communication campaigns and resources. You are experienced in managing online, digital, and social media content, and contributing to promotional activities that enhance the ESU’s mission.
Your communication skills are exceptional, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and strong messaging. You understand how to effectively engage diverse audiences and tailor communication strategies accordingly.
With a proactive mindset, you can work independently, thrive under pressure, and meet tight deadlines. You are a polished networker who builds strong relationships with stakeholders and collaborates effectively across offices and sectors.
**Essential Requirements**:
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Communications, Social/Behavioural Science, Welfare, or a related field, or possess equivalent knowledge and experience, with a demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- Current NSW driver’s licence and willingness to travel within NSW.
