**_Lee’s Learning Centre Marrickville_** is a family operating centre with an amazing team of long-standing educators who strive for excellence in early learning and development.

We have been operating our centre in Marrickville since 2010 and we value meaningful relationships with the children in our care, creating a safe homelike environmentand providing stimulating learning experiences in line with the Early Years LearningFramework and National Quality Standards.

We are a small 49 place centre offering care within the hours of 7:30am-6:00pm for childrenaged 6 weeks to 6 years old. We have three separate learning rooms and a wonderful outdoorsetting.

**About the role**:

- This is a position in our Nursery room (0-2 years), experience with this age group is highly desired
- This is a full-time position working 38 hours a week, plus an additional 2 hours to allow for amonthly RDO.
- Working with a team of 4 Educators and 13 children in our Nursery.
- Part time will also be considered.
- What will you do?_
- Work collaboratively with your team to provide an appropriate developmental and enriching program for children which maximises opportunities for them to develop to their full potential
- Build and maintain positive and meaningful relationships with children, families, staff and the local community
- Be a motivated and driven Educator, who will actively contribute to the program, through detailed observations & documentation
- Build positive behaviour guidance strategies and provide spontaneous play-based learning experiences to extend on children's learning
- Contribute to a child safe environment ensuring standards are met on a daily basis.

**Essential criteria**:

- A Diploma or Certificate III or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
- Working Towards your Cert III will be considered
- Have a sound knowledge of and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safety Standard
- Current Working with Children's Check
- Current Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate
