**Job Description**:
We are seeking a strong safety leader to join our Group HSE team as the HSE Manager - Oil & Gas. You will be based in Port Adelaide with regular site visits to our oil and gas customer sites. You will work with leadership teams, front line managers and operators to nurture and develop our safety obsessed culture and drive our HSE strategy and commitment, in what can be high risk environments.

With stakeholder management focus the ability to influence and engage is essential to foster effective working relationships. You will look after the HSE for both the Customer and Toll controlled sites and will play an intrinsic role in implementing HSE initiatives and training that will continually progress our safety culture and performance.

**Key accountability and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to**:

- Take the lead in coaching and mentoring your stakeholder groups on HSE strategies and activities that allow and encourage a safety obsessed culture.
- Lead investigations and develop and review all Site HSE Plans, in partnership with key business stakeholders.
- Analyse incidents for trends, ensuring preventative action is implemented where required and oversee the quality of data entered into the TRAC database, ensuring data accuracy, updates completed in a timely manner and corrective actions implemented, as required
- Be accountable for driving HSE governance processes including undertaking HSE system and compliance audits.
- Identify and implement HSE training and communication programs that clearly articulate Group HSE information and safety expectation.

**Qualifications**:
**Knowledge/Experience**
- 5-7 years practical experience in a HSE role with a focus on Transport, Warehousing and Logistics.
- Experience in relationship management of both internal clients and external customers.
- Technical/Professional Skills required
- Detailed knowledge of HSE legislation, industry standards and management system standards (AS4801, OHSAS18001 & ISO14001).
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Experience in conducting incident investigations using ICAM or similar methodologies.
- Competent computing skills, advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

**Qualifications**
- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and / or other relevant discipline.
- Tertiary HSE qualifications (highly desirable)
