Our client is currently on the look-out for as exceptional HSE Advisor to join their well-established team. Our client is an international leader in the design and construction industry. Working with innovation and creativity on all ventures. As the HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring all construction operations comply with regulatory and company work health and safety expectations. Managing assessed risks and mitigating the potential for harm.

This opportunity is a full-time permanent role, initially working on a major project here in Adelaide.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Support the team and site
- workers to mitigate risks and identify hazards
- Deliver toolbox meetings, site inductions, work in progress inspections, and ensure the safety committee are established
- Consult with the PM on potential safety training and WHSE information
- Supporting the return-to-work coordinator and subcontractors to ensure return-to-work plans effectively support injured workers
- Key representative in site audits, safety, and quality system maintenance

**This opportunity works closely alongside project managers and internal functions. You will possess**:

- Certificate IV OHS/WHS
- Minimum 4 years of operational experiences in an active HSE advisor role
- Technical written and verbal communication skills with PM’s and subcontractors
- Up-to-date knowledge of WH&S Act, Regulations, Codes of Practice in Australian Standards, and the construction industry
- Ability to learn Internal software skills and coach others in the use of internal HSEQ systems.
- Certificate IV Training & Assessment, and Certificate IV Construction Environmental Management are desirable
