About the opportunity

At Mercy Health, each moment, no matter how small, truly matters - and as a Food Service Assistant, you’ll create cherished moments each day. You will work closely alongside our diverse team at Mercy Health, becoming part of a team all working to provide great care for our residents. This supportive team environment will see the applicant attend a well-supported orientation to suit their needs.

A Food Services Assistant prepares and serves large amounts of food and maintains a safe and clean work environment in a health care setting. They prepare and serve meals according to nutrition and hygiene standards, clean kitchen surfaces, equipment, and dishes, and monitor stock levels.

What you’ll bring

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- Food Safety Certificate- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Clearance.- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
