**Job Description**:
SGS has a great opportunity for a Industrial Hygienist to join the team in Perth.

Duties include however not limited to:

- Undertaking field observations and occupational hygiene assessments
- Conduct Hazardous material inspections
- Conduct Indoor and outdoor air quality monitoring
- Preparation of technical reports and hazardous management plans
- Provide governance in health and hygiene related incidents and IH monitoring results exceedances investigations, manage their records and provide the necessary recommendations/actions (Engineering and Administrative controls, PPE management) to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.
- Monitor the progress on the implementation of the required controls by managing the related NCRs raised in the SGS Incident Management Software (Crystal).
- Maintain the Global Industrial Hygiene software (ProcessMap).

**Qualifications**:

- Full Member of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists or;
- A tertiary degree in chemistry or engineering and provisional AIOH membership or;
- An equivalent competency under an international certification scheme (for example - Certified Industrial Hygienist).
- Completion of the AIOH Basic Principles of Occupational Hygiene course or equivalent.
- National Police Clearance.
- Full Australian Driving Licence
