About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our growing team. As a Product Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our products by bridging the gap between technical teams and business objectives. You will be responsible for managing the product lifecycle from ideation through its MVP, launch, and ongoing optimisation.
**Job Description**:
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with business goals and market needs.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Agile & Scrum Leadership: Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the team delivers high-quality features on time.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and provide updates on product progress.
- User-Centered Design: Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure a user-centered approach in product development, balancing user needs with business objectives.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Analyse market trends, customer feedback, and product performance data to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Technical Understanding: Work with the engineering team to understand technical constraints and ensure that product requirements are feasible and align with technical capabilities.
- Product Launches: Manage the product launch process, coordinating with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful go-to-market strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in product development processes and methodologies, fostering a culture of innovation and agility.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with Marketplace Software Products. (preferred)
- Familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence (preferred)
- Experience in a start-up or fast-paced environment. (preferred)
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with a proven track record of managing the full product lifecycle.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of software development processes, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.
- Agile & Scrum Expertise: Extensive experience leading Agile and Scrum teams, with a deep understanding of Agile principles and best practices.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive product initiatives from concept to completion.
- User Focused: Passionate about creating user-centric products and improving the customer experience.

Mandatory Requirements:
- Current federal police clearance (not more than 12 months old) and international police check if you have lived overseas in the last 10 years.
