mecwacare is seeking an experienced Manager Quality to provide effective oversight of the quality function for our Home and Community Services. Working as part of the broader Quality and Risk team you will lead a team of dedicated Quality Advisors to monitor best practice in care and service delivery, maintain compliance, identify and respond to risks and support continuous improvement. The Quality team assesses business efficiencies and productivity gains with a focus on positive outcomes for consumers. The role will support Retirement Living, Community Services, Home Care Services and related programs/services. This is a three-year contract with opportunity for extension.

**What you bring**:

- Experience in quality and / or risk management in community, aged, disability or the health care industry.
- Tertiary qualifications within a health services disciple.
- Comprehensive knowledge of legislation/regulations relevant to aged care and/or disability services.
- Experience in managing relationships with regulators and other agencies and responding to external compliance audits and requests for information.
- Experience in conducting internal investigations, reviewing and following up of incidents, risk and trend data analysis and evaluations.
- Experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of quality and risk management systems, including policy development, process mapping, root cause analysis, risk assessment and report writing.
- Well-developed analytical and conceptual thinking to support decision making, problem solving and guide informed recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Current Victorian Driver’s License.
