**WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?**

Mount Barker Hospital is seeking a proactive **Facilities Officer** to join our team. In this vital support role, you’ll assist with the general maintenance and upkeep of our buildings and grounds - helping ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

As part of a **multi-disciplinary team**, this role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a real difference every day.

Please note:

- The role works across a **7-day roster**, including weekends.
- Participation in the **after-hours Facilities On-Call roster** is required.

**HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?**
- Carry out general facility and grounds maintenance, including minor carpentry, painting, plumbing, mechanical tasks, and rubbish collection
- Assist with ordering, storing, and issuing supplies to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Operate equipment and tools safely and efficiently, including tractors, watering systems, and power tools
- Contribute to a safe, positive work environment and support a culture of continuous improvement
