**About the role**
We’re currently looking to fill short-term contracts through December 2025 and are also building a talent pool for future opportunities.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic and expanding Customer Experience (CX) Team during a time of significant growth.
As a Human-Centred Designer within the CX Team, you’ll play a key role in shaping meaningful customer experiences. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Customer Experience Design, you’ll be responsible for crafting, developing, and delivering impactful CX initiatives in close collaboration with stakeholders across TAFE.
With current high demand, you’ll have the chance to lead and contribute to projects that enhance learner experience, support student success, modernise course development and review processes, and inform needs-based community engagement. You’ll bring your full skillset to the table, working alongside multidisciplinary teams including researchers, CX designers, data analysts, educators, and program leaders.
Some travel may be required to conduct research and engage directly with customers and stakeholders.
**About You**
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring proven experience in delivering customer experience, human-centred design, and design thinking projects within large organisations. You’re skilled in qualitative research, generating actionable insights, and turning CX concepts into real-world solutions. You make people feel heard, show courage in your approach, and thrive in cross-functional teams working toward shared goals.
You’ll be part of a passionate, highly skilled team that loves what they do and actively contributes to a wide range of exciting projects. A relevant qualification in design, service design, or human centred design or equivalent experience is essential, along with a genuine commitment to creating positive customer experiences and helping others understand their role in driving impact.
