This role requires a proven ability to work across all Human Resource functions to provide holistic support to a portfolio of Stores The key focus is working with others, building and maintaining relationships, and working closely and accurately within established guidelines.
Top Talent is considered a fundamental of RPG’s blueprint, as such the acquisition, induction, development, retention and progression of our team plays a pivotal role in RPG success. This role works cohesively within our HR Team to drive the strategic pillar of Top Talent within the business.

**The successful HR Advisor will also have the following**:
- 2+ years HR Generalist experience.
- Previous experience working within a fast paced retail environment.
- Quick to connect and able to build rapport with various stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of Human Resource activities across the employee life cycle including HR legislative requirements.
- Exposure to OHS/WHS in a retail environment and conscientious about brining about meaningful change.
- An appreciation and understanding of business challenges and operations.
- Demonstrated experience interpreting relevant Awards, NES, Fair Work Act legislation.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task/prioritise daily workload.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Strong focus on IR/ER issues and providing expert professional advice and support to all key stakeholders across all aspects of people management in Australia and New Zealand.
- Provide leadership and advice to assist all facets of the business in undertaking and implementing HR processes; including but not limited to, disciplinary processes, policy interpretation and award interpretation.
- Delivering the people and culture strategies that drive business results.
- Recruitment, induction/onboarding, retention, succession planning and employee relations will key focuses for the role.
- Ensuring legal compliance and representation of RPG's relationship with external organisations such as employer groups, government authorities, industry associations and other relevant bodies as required across AUS and NZ.
- Making recommendations and reviewing/creating HR Policies in consultation with key stakeholders.
- Coaching and advising all employees in AUS/NZ on any HR related matters.
- Undertaking various activities within the HR department such as OHS, administration, employee benefits, remuneration, performance as required.
