Reporting to the Manager of Purchasing, we are seeking a Full Time Purchasing Officer to join our team here at Nick Scali.

You will have had experience and exposure working within a similar environment as this position will see you connecting with local and offshore suppliers to ensure orders are accurately allocated to shipping containers within specified timeframes.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in **Mandarin** highly regarded as you will be liaising with AU, China, and Vietnam suppliers.

**About the role**:

- Action and compiling purchase orders
- Corresponding with overseas suppliers regarding products
- Checking and maintaining the accuracy of supplier reports
- Coordinating orders with suppliers
- Attend to enquiries from showrooms and warehouses.

**About you**:

- Experienced and knowledgeable in exporting/importing (eg. payment terms)
- Excellent office administration experience
- Motivated, self-starter with an eye for detail
- Competent using Microsoft Office and other technology platforms.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
