We are one of the largest owners, operators and developers of retirement living communities in Australia, with a current portfolio of 75+ villages and over 17,000 residents calling our villages home.
It’s an exciting time to join our Retirement Living business. In the next 12 months we will be going through a period of transformation and change, reaffirming the Retirement Living business as a key market stakeholder and allowing us to focus on works best for our business and the people we service.
The Role
As part of the Refurbishment Team, the Reinstatement Coordinator is a new role created to oversee the delivery of reinstatement works for our VIC Retirement Living Portfolio. Your purpose is to create the most desirable place to live for our residents.
The Reinstatement Coordinator will be responsible for key duties as listed below:
- This is a hybrid, office-based role that may require some travelling to VIC villages using your own vehicle- Coordinating reinstatement of recently vacated properties e.g. arranging painting, and new carpets with end customer in mind- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders such as tradespeople and contractors during the re-sale process- Complete general contract administration and invoicing- Ensure safety and compliance of suppliers on site- Adhere to costs, standards, and ensure the reinstatement works are completed by the settlement date
About You- Previous experience coordinating residential build or commercial fitout works;- Previous experience coordinating and negotiating with suppliers/trades- Computer literate - must be competent with Microsoft Word and Excel- Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels;- Excellent coordination, communication, time management and interpersonal skills;- Commitment to quality, professionalism, confidentiality and attention to detail;

Please note: The successful applicant must complete a Police Check, will be required to receive an annual flu vaccination between the months of April-October. For selected roles more physical in nature, pre-employment medical assessments may also be required prior to any employment offers being made.
