**About the role**

Homedics have a fantastic new opportunity for an Operations Manager to join their small but growing team. Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager is a senior executive in the business responsible for operations strategy, leadership and execution to achieve the organisational goals and objectives of the business.

The role is accountable for leading and managing all inventory, demand planning, logistics, risk, legal, human resources, IT and facilities functions for the business.

The Operations Manager is responsible for embracing both cultural and operational change in order to bring the business to the next phase of success.

**Duties and responsiblities**
- Lead and manage the Operations team;
- Oversee the monthly/annual forecasting process for the business & commercial decision making from tender analysis;
- Design and deliver relevant reporting to support company wide data driven decision making;
- Present operational insights & timely strategic and analytical support to the General Manager;
- Review, manage and maintain vendor contracts and engagements (including HR, IT, office equipment, building services, legal and insurance);.
- Review and maintain all formal operations related policies and procedures;
- Lead process and management improvements to ensure each function is able to deliver on strategic objectives.

**Skills & experience**
- Degree qualified in commerce, business or accounting;
- Prior experience working within a senior operational managerial position leading a small-to-medium organisation’s operational capability;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and an ability to adapt to new systems;Strong leadership ability & experience in mentoring, developing and leading teams;
- Strong commercial acumen in decision making and advice;Exceptional problem-solving skills and negotiation skills;
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated experience of working collaboratively and influencing across multiple stakeholder groups.
