**Position**: Veterinary Nurse Assistant - Surgery (Full-time)
**Location**: Brisbane Veterinary Specialist Centre
**Hours**: 38 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 7am-3pm

**The Role**:
As a Veterinary Nurse Assistant - Surgery, you'll play a vital role in supporting our surgical team by:

- Maintaining surgical areas (prep, theatre, autoclave, imaging rooms) through cleaning, disinfection, and equipment upkeep.
- Assisting with patient prep (under supervision) and managing hygiene in treatment areas.
- Manage stock levels and process orders
- Completing Infection Control and Nurse Assistant Checklists efficiently.
- Adhering to BVSC’s safety policies and high care standards.

- Reliable, energetic, and detail oriented.
- Eager to learn and pursue professional development.
- Skilled in infection control, WHS principles, and safe manual handling.
- Able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- A clear communicator, both written and verbal.
- Flexible and willing to take on diverse tasks.
- ** Required**: Certificate II or III in Animal Studies.
- ** Physical Requirements**: Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation
- ** Preferred**: Prior experience in a veterinary setting.
