**About the Division
The Operations Division manages the effective delivery of QRA managed funding programs, including responsibility for overseeing the joint State and Commonwealth Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) and resilience funded projects by State and Local Government agencies and Non-Government Organisation's.
About the Team
The Assessments team is responsible for performing the core functional element of the division by assessing and acquitting funding submissions in terms of compliance with program guidelines and value for money principles.
About the Role
Actively contribute to the development and delivery of best practice funding management to meet program control measures, stakeholder needs and QRA requirements.
Undertake analysis and provide recommendations on activities/projects aligned with QRA business needs.
Actively contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of business processes and systems that support the efficiency and effectiveness of the division in delivery of objectives.
Provide ongoing training, support and timely feedback to team members.
Undertake in-house or where required infield assessment activities.
Provide regular updates to Team Leaders and key stakeholders on the status of tasks.
Represent the team/organisation as appropriate with internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct review or assessment of evidence and key documentation for accuracy and completeness, to support funding submissions, program performance or inspections, utilising program guidelines.
Liaise with applicants or delivery agencies to clarify documentation and obtain additional information, providing feedback to improve the quality of future funding submissions.
Work under limited supervision, using a high level of initiative to resolve issues.
Undertake related project and other duties of equivalent complexity as required.
This role reports to a Team Leader, Assessments.
QRA's workforce is agile and ready to respond quickly to support disaster priorities. You may have the opportunity to undertake other temporary duties or work in alternative locations to support impacted communities.
