**About the opportunity**
We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager to support the successful delivery and ongoing development of mental health services for NSW. Reporting to the General Manager, Operations, this role is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and ongoing delivery of the new mental health service.
This is a unique role for someone passionate about driving operational excellence, delivering mental health services, and ensuring high-quality consumer experiences during a significant transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the phased transition of the existing Mental Health Line to the new service model.
- Supporting the scoping and implementation of new mental health service access channels and service enhancements as agreed with the Funder.
- Management and monitoring of service performance aligned to service level agreements
- Monitoring and managing service provider workforce performance including clinical quality and safety performance indicators
- Management and monitoring program governance, including risks, quality improvement initiatives record keeping and compliance
- Work in collaboration with support services including IT, Clinical Governance and Analytics and Reporting
**You can contribute through your**:
- Extensive experience in leadership and management within the healthcare sector including at least three years within the mental health sector.
- Demonstrated experience in managing contracts, budgets and a clinical workforce
- Demonstrated experience in large scale program implementation, and on-going management, governance and operational excellence
- Demonstrated experience in quality systems and continuous improvement, change management
- Demonstrated experience working with consumers and responding to feedback on service improvement
