**The Role**

In this newly created, varied role, you would be an integral member of the team, reporting to the CEO and Ops Manager. You will be accountable for providing generalist HR advice and operational support to four large GP businesses and other associated entities in Melbourne CBD, South Melbourne and Werribee.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Together with practice managers coordinating all people and culture activities including - recruitment, training, compliance, induction, exit, wellbeing
- Succession Planning/Leadership identification
- Support during accreditation with policy and procedures
- Be a sounding board on all people issues for PMs
- Coordinate the performance and development planning process and support managers and employees through this process
- Implement online system for staff policies to be accessed
- Coordinate training programs and schedule
- HR administration tasks associated with people and culture tasks
- Managing end to end recruitment process of team members
- Oversee doctor retention and recruitment process with Ops Manager and CEO
- Developing and maintaining and policies and procedures and position descriptions
- Leading employee engagement initiatives
- Providing advice and day-to-day support to Practice Managers on various HR queries

**About You**

Tertiary qualified, with a “hands on”, practical approach to your tasks. You will have a proven generalist HR skill set and the composure and resilience to stay the course and drive business outcomes. You will also have OHS experience and skills.

Exceptional people skills along with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels will be essential. You are flexible and resilient with strong people and relationship management skills. You will need a car and be happy to travel the GPs in Melbourne and Werribee.

5+ years’ People and Culture experience in a small to medium business, healthcare/medical centre preferred.
