Due to growth in the Customer Insights and Strategy team we are currently looking to recruit a Consumer Strategy Analyst who will report into our Head of Consumer Strategy and Program Execution. The role is central to providing strategy support, analysis, and research for strategy planning, strategic initiatives, implementation planning, and reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to play a role in the development and implementation of a customer-centred divisional strategy as well as a platform to launch your strategy career. **You'll be responsible for**: - Contributing to the development of strategy planning, implementation, and communication including creation of fact packs, opportunity maps, and assessment of strategic options. - Support the development of project hypotheses and their testing by sourcing and analysing external data and AAL information. - Support ongoing analysis and monitoring of emerging trends and competitor activity to deliver industry insights. - Assist in turning storyboards into structured, concise and clear reports for decision makers. - Support the facilitation of workshops and the development of frameworks and tools. - Analyse trends across the insurance market, competitors, customers, disruptors and enablers. - Assist during the annual strategic planning process including quality review and control, consolidating business unit and divisional inputs, and enabling production of overall output **Important to your success**: - You’ll have a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and industry accreditations, where necessary. - You’ll have prior experience in a strategic analysis role ideally in a financial services, professional services or consumer organisation - Have demonstrated prior experience in exploring business insights and trends to identify and translate potential for operational improvement, growth and/or cost saving opportunities. - Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions. - Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision making. - Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact and influence. **What's on offer?** - Your team will go out of their way to ensure you’re able to be the best you can be - personally and professionally.
