The City of Whittlesea is looking for a creative, dynamic and confident communications professional to join our team to drive internal communications for our 1200-plus staff located across multiple sites within one of Australia’s fastest growing municipalities.
As part of a high-performing communications and engagement team, you will help develop and bring to life internal communications to build a positive and engaged workforce, giving a voice to staff by telling their stories that will embed our values and behaviours towards developing a Great Workplace for All.
The Internal Communications Officer plays an important role in embedding our organisational values and supporting a positive and engaged culture throughout the City of Whittlesea.
To be considered for this interesting role in an exciting growth area Council you will be experienced in Communications roles, with significant expertise in developing and delivering effective evidenced based internal communications plans. You will have outstanding verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to engage and work with stakeholders at all levels. You will have a high standard of performance, with a track record of producing high-quality content across multiple channels. You bring a positive can-do attitude and hold high value on effective teamwork and a positive organisational culture.
