The RoleMake a difference in our community
This role will report directly to the Manager Community Strengthening to plan, deliver and evaluate key strategic projects, as well as develop and maintain strong partnerships with external stakeholders, including overseeing the Whittlesea Community Futures Partnership. The Partnerships and Projects Officer will also collaborate with the Departments leadership team across the three units - Healthy Communities, Aboriginal Communities and Youth Development units – to drive the successful implementation of key strategic and operational initiatives and assist building project management capacity across the Department.
About youWhat will set you up for success in the Partnerships and Projects Officer role?
- Proven ability to plan, implement, and evaluate key Departmental projects and initiatives, with a focus on innovation, evidence-based outcomes, and effective processes.
- Interest in ongoing collaboration with the Department's leadership team to advance strategic priorities, particularly in the areas of health and wellbeing, First Peoples, and youth engagement.
- A genuine passion for building and sustaining effective partnerships with government and non-government organisations, service providers, the private sector, and community stakeholders to enhance collaborative outcomes.
- Solid experience in project management and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
- Enthusiasm for working alongside passionate teams and stakeholders on meaningful, impactful, and rewarding initiatives.
