**Job Summary**: Bondi Dental is looking for a meticulous Health Information Manager to establish and maintain efficient record-keeping and information processing systems within our dental practice. This position involves designing, revising, implementing, and managing systems that guarantee the accuracy and confidentiality of patient information. This role is vital for ensuring that patient and organisational records are easily accessible, securely stored, and properly managed throughout their lifecycle, from creation to disposal while maintaining standards of confidentiality.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain filing and records systems and implement health information management policies and procedures.
- Oversee the organisation of and ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and security of patient data.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for physical and electronic record-keeping.
- Train staff on health information management procedures and best practices.
- Design and revise health history forms, sterilisation documentation forms, treatment consent forms, other data collections forms as needed
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy, completeness and optimised organisation of patient data and sterilisation records.
- Manage the collection, storage, transfer and disposal of records in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise information flow.

**Qualifications**:

- Certification as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) is preferred.
- Experience in records management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and data management.
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Knowledge of dental practice operations is a plus.

- Ability to work well independently and with a team
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with full working rights
- Weekend availability

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
