**About us**:
Mapo is a company operating the gelato business since 5 years and in quick expansion. We strive to make a great quality gelato that is made using locally sourced ingredients. We make a product that is freshly made on site every day and that changes through the year following seasonality.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the retail business, ensuring efficiency and seamless service.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management of staff.
- Create and enforce policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and customer service.
- Track and analyse sales data, financial performance, and assist with budgeting and financial reports.
- Manage inventory levels, establish and maintain supplier relationships, and negotiate contracts and pricing.
- Plan and execute promotional activities and marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Address customer issues and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Comply with occupational health and safety regulations and ensure safe working practices.

**Qualifications and skills**
- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma (or an equivalent qualification)
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience can substitute for formal qualifications, with additional on-the-job training possibly required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills to manage sales data and make strategic decisions.
- Proven experience in budgeting, financial management, and maintaining supplier relations.

Pay: $73,150.00 per year

- Rotating roster

**Experience**:

- Point of Sale (POS) software: 1 year (preferred)
- Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
