Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is the one of the largest Defence companies in Australia, and is now seeking to fill a crucial role from highly skilled and motivated individuals to be part of the team to lead Technical Maintenance (Avionics) Instructional activities for Boeing Defence Australia, supporting the emerging Airpower Teaming System (ATS) - MQ-28A Ghost Bat Program.
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for the position of an Avionics (B2) Maintenance Training Instructor Level P2, for the ATS MQ-28A Ghost Bat Program. This Program is located at Amberley Queensland.
Your exceptional avionics experience and training skills will be critical to the introduction of Aviation Maintenance Training for the ATS Program, in a unique and challenging environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing and evolving Maintenance Training materials, including but not limited to; analysis, design and development of courseware artefacts, learning curriculum, and the implementation and management of learning management system(s).
- Support to the ATS Training Services Manager in leading program execution by coordinating team tasking, including organisation of onsite resources and tasking priorities.
- Ensuring maintenance authorisation currency, and integrity of training products, through continued involvement in Line and Base maintenance activities.
- Supporting new technical training approaches, products and processes.
- Maintaining excellent communication skills, ability follow schedules, multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Maintaining a robust relationship with our customer, stakeholders, and peers.
- Deliver maintenance training to internal and external customers of the ATS program.
- Providing SME Support to the phase-in of the aircraft production activity and its training requirements

Experience/Qualifications

**Essential qualifications and/or experience**:

- Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics).
- Military Aviation Maintenance License (MAML) with an existing Aircraft Type Certification, or equivalent commercial qualification.
- Experienced in the conduct of training and assessment in the Aviation Maintenance environment.
- Interpersonal skills to work in a multi-team environment and ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Established communication, multi-tasking and time management skill sets.

**Desirable qualifications and/or experience**:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE10116 or equivalent), or willingness to obtain this qualification.
- Understanding of Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR Pt.66 and Pt.147).
- Awareness of enhanced training methods and an innovative mindset to implement and support flexible learning delivery, including AR and VR technologies.
- Highly competent Aeroskills Instructor/Mentor and Courseware Development skills.
