Your new role
Working as an Events Coordinator your key responsibilities may include:

- Advocating for, and be a part of, the growth of your colleagues around you exercising a ‘leadership at all levels’ approach to your teamwork
- Liaising with and helping to coordinate external supplies in accordance with deadlines, resources, budgets, contracts, and policies
- Assuming responsibility for data management including the collation of stakeholder mapping and reporting of event sentiment feedback
- Utilising a range of programs to identify associated risks and trends to assist forward planning and informed deliverables
- Providing content for briefing and event related documents, undertaking research as required
- Coordinating competing requests and demands, setting priorities and managing workflow of immediate work area
- Supporting the delivery of materials for strategic projects as required
- Assisting in the preparation and logistics of a range of events including sessions, forums, conferences and webinars
- Identifying opportunities to represent the organisation in interactions with key stakeholders and public facing events
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with community and mainstream stakeholders to promote the organisation

What you'll need to succeed

Key skills required for the role include but are not limited to the following:

- Demonstrated ability and experience in coordinating events/accessible events within government
- Lived experience with Disability, and/or corporate experience working within the Disability sector
- Adaptability in a changing environment
- Ability to work on multiple pieces of work at one time
- Autonomy to design and implement new processes
- A willingness to lift others around you to get the job done
- A natural ability to ‘connect’ to team members working virtually in other locations.
