Are you ready to lead and innovate in the world of property and asset management? JLL is seeking an experienced professional to join our team in Adelaide as the Associate Director of Engineering and Operations Solutions for South Australia.
About the role
As the Associate Director, you'll be the technical backbone of our South Australian team, providing crucial leadership and operational management. Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering and Operations Solutions (EOS) for WA/SA, you'll be responsible for:
Leading and mentoring a team of approximately eight operations staff
Driving energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives across our SA portfolio
Overseeing capital works programs and ensuring operational excellence
Maintaining high standards of compliance and risk management
**Key Responsibilities**:
Serve as the primary technical expert for the South Australian Property and Asset Management (PAM) team
Implement structured mentoring and training programs to enhance team capabilities
Manage energy and sustainability initiatives, including NABERS assessments
Provide expert guidance on capital works planning and execution
Oversee compliance and risk management processes
Manage relationships with key vendors and service providers
**Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for**:
Technical trade background
Minimum 5 years of experience in building engineering or facilities management
Demonstrated experience in a senior management role overseeing large commercial properties
Proven track record in implementing energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, BMS, electrical, and other building systems
Demonstrated experience of staff leadership
Strong project management and financial analysis capabilities
