Nurse Next Door (Sydney-Ryde region) is looking to build our care team with a variety of experienced home care workers with different skill sets and talents, who also have the passion to provide quality care to the elderly and people with disabilities.

Our suburbs cover Ryde, Eastwood, Epping, Macquarie Park, Ermington, Marsfield, Meadowbank, Denistone, Gladesville, Putney, Woolwich, Hunters Hill, Lindfield, Killara, Gordon, Pymble, and surroundings.

Nurse Next Door is a rapidly expanding international home care service provider, which originated in North America more than 20 years ago and has been established in Australia since 2018.

**Your Role**

This position is hired for two established clients who are located in Blacktown area. Weekly shifts are in the morning time of Monday (3 hours), Wednesday (3 hours), Thursday (4 hours), Friday (6 hours).

Your role may include, but is not limited to:

- Assisting with personal care including toileting, bathing and personal hygiene, personal grooming, hair and skin care, oral hygiene etc.
- Transferring/hoisting between the toilet, bed etc.
- Assisting with meal preparation, grocery shopping, light house-keeping or other domestic duties
- Prompting medication
- Providing transportation or accompaniment for shopping, appointment, or other activities
- Engaging clients with past hobbies and interests
- Supporting clients to participate in community activities

**Skills and Experience**
- Minimum Cert III (Aged Care/Community/Individual Support/Disability)
- Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain
- Language: Very fluent English
- Driving license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
- Previous caregiving experience with aged people or people with disabilities is a plus
- Excellent communication skills

- NDIS Worker Check

**Salary**: $37.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
