As the Head of Interschool Sport, you will lead the strategic direction and operations of MLC’s Year 5-12 Interschool Sport programs. You will manage and enhance our diverse sporting offerings, introduce a new sportswomen’s support program, and provide professional development for coaching staff. You will play a pivotal role in promoting healthy lifestyles and ensuring our students achieve their sporting potential.

Some of your primary duties and responsibilities will include the following:

- Overseeing the Year 5-12 Interschool Sport programs, including GSV and SSV participation.
- Leading the design and implementation of MLC’s sportswomen’s support program.
- Developing and delivering a staff education program for all Interschool Sport coaches.
- Managing the budget, compliance, and risk for all Interschool Sport activities.
- Collaborating with the Director of Sport and coaching staff to enhance student participation.
- Coaching a team each term and mentoring students within the wellbeing program.

About You
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field.
- Strong leadership and motivation skills, with the ability to inspire diverse teams.
- Innovative and passionate about sport and promoting healthy lifestyles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across a range of stakeholders.
- Skilled in managing budgets, finances, and operations within a sports context.
- Proven experience in sports management and administration.
- Proficient with technology for sports management.
- Current Working With Children Check and a strong understanding of Child Safe Standards.
