**Inventory Support Officer**:

Reporting to the Purchasing Team Leader and working closely with the customer, you will be responsible for managing key supply chain and inventory management activities. You will be accountable for facilitating the development of customer relationships through best practices aligned to Babcock’s business objectives.
- Some of your key responsibilities will include:_
- Undertaking inventory tasks on MILIS, including raising and approving requisitions;
- Reviewing and actioning AIMS tasks;
- Reviewing and actioning corporate reports, including Quality Management Procedures and MILIS data quality;
- Adopting a systematic approach for identification and management of inventory risks, in order to avoid, mitigate or eliminate negative impacts to Babcock and our customers;
- Engage with key internal and external stakeholders in all aspects of inventory and supply chain, to create value-add and innovative solutions to business needs;
- Ensuring commercial risk to Babcock is effectively managed by ensuring adherence to Babcock’s due diligence requirements at all times.

**About you**

You will be an Inventory Support Officer with MILIS experience. You will ideally have experience in operational and engineering services-based supply chain environment with strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

You will also have:

- Analytical skills, with decision making based on detailed analysis and interpretation of complex data.
- Knowledge and appreciation of a collaborative working approach including building partnerships and alliances.
- Ability to innovate and find alternative solutions to problems.
- Pro-active, resourceful and able to prioritise competing demands.
- Clear track record of compliance to high ethical standards and codes of conduct.
