Inventory Controller - Ringwood VIC
Are you passionate about precision, process improvement, and driving operational success? We’re looking for an experienced Inventory Controller to join our dynamic warehouse team in Ringwood, VIC. This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring inventory accuracy, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction across our retail logistics operations.
About the Role As the Inventory Controller, you’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, leading stocktakes and reconciliations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll work closely with warehouse staff, clients, and service providers to ensure seamless inventory management and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities and duties
- Lead and manage inventory control processes including stocktakes, cycle counts, and reconciliations.- Ensure timely and accurate data entry into inventory systems.- Investigate discrepancies and manage stock integrity, including damage assessments.- Prepare and present inventory KPI reports with actionable insights.- Oversee waste removal and manage long-term stock holdings.- Ensure compliance with safety standards and legislative requirements.- Support customer service excellence and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation.
What You’ll Bring- Proven inventory management experience.- Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).- Strong understanding of inventory systems and procedures.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- High organisational and time management skills.- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
