A Disability Support Worker provides assistance and companionship to individuals with disabilities in various settings, such as homes, group homes, or community programs. They help with daily living tasks like personal care, mobility, and social engagement, focusing on promoting independence and well-being. Key Responsibilities:

- **Personal Care**:Assisting with showering, dressing, eating, and other personal hygiene needs.
- **Mobility**:Helping individuals get around, including with wheelchairs, walkers, or other assistive devices.
- **Social Support**:Facilitating social interactions, attending community events, and helping individuals connect with others.
- **Daily Living Tasks**:Assisting with shopping, cooking, cleaning, and other household chores.
- **Communication and Advocacy**:Communicating effectively with individuals and their families, advocating for their needs, and ensuring their rights are respected.

Job Outlook**:Female only that is willing to travel between Aspley and Cleveland QLD**
- Demand for disability support workers is strong, with many job openings expected in the coming years.
- Qualified workers are less likely to be unemployed.
- Cleaning shift 2 hours per week required.
- Support work shift needs to have a car and licence.
- Needs to available weekly in **Cleveland Monday and Thursday 5.30pm to 8pm.**:

- Once a Month in **Aspley 9.30am
- 12.30pm**

Qualifications:

- Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015) or Disability Supports, are often preferred by employers.
- Experience in the disability or aged care sector is also valuable.
- First Aid certificate and CPR

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $38.00 - $42.42 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- Working with childrens check (required)
- NDIS Screen check (required)
- Police Check (required)
