About the Role

This is a frontline management position that provides strategic and operational leadership and management of the Information Technology function to deliver best practices in support of the organisation’s strategic plan. The Manager, Information Technology will undertake operational management and continuous improvement of best practice IT service management, cybersecurity, data and analytics, IT infrastructure, policy and governance, business process optimization, digitization, and technical innovation.

Duties

**Policy and Procedure**: Design, implement, review and manage relevant IT policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and best-practice methodologies underpin all IT activities. Ensure they are consistent with relevant Legislation.

**Systems**: Identify, implement, and manage appropriate systems that support the work of the team. This includes but is not limited to IT Service Management Platform, file storage, budget tracking.

**IT Support**: Lead the IT team in the provision of effective and efficient Helpdesk Support that meets standards described in the Service Level Agreement.

**Senior Management Team**: Provide expert and timely advice to the Senior Management Team on policies, reports, recommendations, legislation, recent technological and related advances that may impact/improve ATSICHS’s service delivery and business functionality.

**Lead by example**: Ensure your behaviour is aligned to our mission and purpose, code of conduct, policies, procedures and core values at all times. Participate in the performance review process, commit to own self development, maintain professional competencies.

**Conflict resolution**: Be open and accountable in working toward the resolution of work-related matters.

**Direct team**: Ensure a positive workplace culture is maintained through regular meetings with staff individually and as a group.

**Corporate Services Department**: In conjunction with the Corporate Services Management team develop, plan and facilitate Department Days, to promote team building and positive workplace culture.

Required

**Essential Qualifications and Licencing**:
Bachelor degree in Business, IT or a related field (or equivalent training and experience)

Working with Children’s Card (Blue Card) or be eligible to apply

Disability Worker Screening Clearance Card (Yellow Card) or be eligible to apply

Criminal History Check

**Experience**:
Experience in a similar IT related role.

Experience effectively managing highly visible and complex IT projects

Demonstrated experience assessing and responding to business technology needs by designing and implementing IT solutions

Demonstrated experience in a comparable not-for-profit, government or private sector organisation.

**Skills**:
Ability to build rapport and strong internal relationships with employees and stakeholders organisation wide.

Ability to support and manage a continuous improvement model for achieving outcomes.

Decisive listening, influencing and persuasive skills.

Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes.

Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Microsoft modern platforms, systems and reporting: Including, Microsoft 365 and Azure.
