Visy is powering the circular economy, closing the loop between packaging, remanufacturing and recycling. Over 75 years, we've grown to 7,000 employees and 150 global operations - predominately in Australia and New Zealand.

We believe materials are not recycled until they’ve been made into new products. We collect and sort recyclable materials like paper, cardboard, glass, plastics and metals from households and businesses, and locally remanufacture them back into new, sustainable packaging. From cardboard boxes, water bottles and jam jars to food and beverage cans, we are using recycled content to power Australia and New Zealand’s food and beverage packaging industry.

**Role details**: Reporting to the Commercial Manager - Visy Logistics this position is required to work with all teams to provide value added solutions to customers and operations. Provide quality commercial reporting data, analysis and decision support as well as ensuring data integrity. Based in either Clayton with WFH flexibility, you will be an integral member of the Global Logistics Finance team.

**What you’ll do**:
Review quotation requests and prepare pricing proposals for internal and external customer for logistics services. Further to that you will be involved with but not limited to:

- Collaborate with Internal divisions to collect data and understand operational processes to optimize cost.
- Proactively partner with key stakeholders to develop strategies that maximize revenue and profitability.
- Prepare and present clear, concise reports to the leadership team, guiding them in making informed decisions.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate performance metrics, providing recommendations for process improvements.

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Degree in Commerce, Business or Logistics or related field with advanced skills analysing complex data, developing models and providing insights
- Proven experience in commercial analysis, logistics solutions, or related roles within the logistics or transportation industry.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques; proficiency in Excel. SQL, Power BI and data visualization tools are a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong influencing skills to work with a diverse group of stakeholders, build trust and demonstrate professionalism and expertise
- Strategic mindset with a knack for translating data into actionable business strategies.
- Collaborative attitude, comfortable working across departments to achieve common goals.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and problem-solving.
