**The Role**:
Within the contract logistics team, this Snr Commercial Analyst role will work closely with the Warehouse and Distribution Centre Managers in all finance tasks by supporting commercial decisions and strategic analysis.

**Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:

- To complete monthly P&L review, with Profit and Loss owners (ie, Distribution Centre Managers, Distribution Managers)
- Ensure timely revenue recognition, invoicing + gross profit results
- Ensure incoming invoices/transactions are accrued without error
- Analysis of rates, margins, volumes and profitability per site / customer and respective trends
- To support the contract preparation/negotiation with customers and suppliers
- To complete quarterly rolling forecast plus annual target planning process
- To provide existing and new business customer pricing reviews
- To control areas impacting cost/profitability.

**About You**:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance/ accounting qualification would be advantageous
- Previous experience in Freight Forwarding or Contract Logistics industry
- Analytical with a passion for data and reporting
- Experience in leading people would be beneficial
- Great organisation and time management
- Excellent communication to all levels of stakeholders
- Excellent MS Skills, especially excel.

**Salary**: Up to $85,000 + Super (Negotiable pending experience level)

**Location**: Derrimut, Melbourne
