**About the Position**
This position provides support of the promotion, recruitment, induction, ongoing training, deployment and recognition for volunteers at the City of Stirling.
**Key Responsibilities**
The duties of the Volunteer Services Officer will include but are not limited to:
- Volunteer Recruitment and Training.
- Plan and evaluate day-to-day operations of Volunteer Services.
- Assist with civic functions to recognize volunteer contributions and achievements.
- Provide general administrative support.
- Liaise with Program Coordinators, City of Stirling staff, and community groups to determine volunteer needs.
**About You**
- Certificate IV or equivalent in Community Services or demonstrated experience in working with volunteers.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and support community-based services or activities.
- Previous experience in working with diverse communities, programs or services.
- Effective conflict management and negotiation skills including the ability to deal with challenging situations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant legislation and the ability to contribute to policies and procedures.

This permanent part-time position is a Level 5 Inside Workforce Agreement positions which attract a salary from $77,514.91 gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation.

- A copy of Australian Driver’s Licence.
- National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months).
- Pre-Employment Medical and DAS clearance.
- The right to work in Australia.
