**About the Position**
The Transport Officer works closely with employees, volunteers and clients to provide transport assistance to eligible residents of the City of Stirling. This assistance is vital to supporting seniors to remain independent at home and in the community and provides enriched and improved quality of life for all involved.
**Key Responsibilities**
The duties of the Transport Officer will include but are not limited to:
- Safely transport customers to and/ or from designated destinations
- Provide individual and group support to clients in undertaking shopping or social activities, assisting them to and from appointments when required.
- Promote Aged Care Services amongst clients, carers, families, service provides and the wider community.
- Deliver a consistent high standard of service in accordance with the organisation’s policies and procedures and the customer’s care plan.
**About You**
- Full ‘LR’ Class Drivers Licence or willingness to obtain.
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Demonstrated experience in working with elderly and people with a disability and their families.
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health requirements and understanding of the appropriate legislation impacting on community care employees.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and work within the wellness framework and adapt a person-centred approach.
- Excellent Customer Service and computer skills to be able to contribute to the administration of the service delivery.

This temporary part-time position is a Level 3 Inside Workforce Agreement positions which attract a salary from $66,201.68 gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation.
**To be eligible to work for us, you need to provide, or have ability obtain a**:
- A copy of Australian driving licence.
- National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months).
- Pre-Employment Medical and DAS clearance.
- The right to work in Australia.
