Corporate Action Analyst

**Overview**
To provide investment operations support to Link Fund Solution’s boutique fund managers covering a range of portfolio administration functions namely valuations, corporate actions, custodian liaison, and relationship management.
**Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities**
- Ensuring timely delivery of various reporting requirements to fund managers
- Updating portfolio system relating to corporate actions, and asset pricing
- Liaison with custodians, fund managers for upcoming corporate action events
- Involved in Project work to improve service quality e.g. system implementations / upgrades / testing
- Play an active role in the on-boarding of new clients and ensuring the effective and timely implementation of client change requests
- Peer review of data entry and allocated tasks
- Regular reviews of Investment Operations processes and procedures with a view to implementing efficiency and accuracy improvements
**Experience & Personal Attributes**
- 1 - 2 years experience in a custody, fund administrator or fund manager environment within a high volume, client focused working environment
- Tertiary degree in relevant field such as Finance, Accounting or Commerce
- Strong understanding of investment products, markets & securities, fixed interest and derivatives product classes
- Problem solving and implementing practical solutions
- Ongoing monitoring and improvement of risk and compliance controls
- Proactively responds and adapts to change - supports and influences strategies to enable business transformation and enhancement
- Excellent written & verbal communication
- expressing ideas effectively in individual and group situations
- Excellent organization skill - ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment
- Attention to detail - ensure accuracy and efficiency of daily tasks and high personal standards in all work areas
