Male Support Worker - Wheelchair & ABI Client

**Location & Shifts**:

- **Tuesday 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM** - Marangaroo
- **Tuesday 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM** - Bentley
- **Thursday 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM** - Bentley

**About the Role**:
We are seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to assist a client with a wheelchair and acquired brain injury (ABI). The role requires confident manual handling skills and the ability to follow and implement a behaviour support plan.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care and daily living support in line with the client’s care plan
- Safely operate manual handling equipment and complete transfers
- Support the client in community participation and social activities
- Follow the behaviour support plan to manage and respond to behaviours of concern
- Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation

**Essential Requirements**:

- Current **Manual Handling Certificate**:

- Experience supporting clients with **wheelchair use and ABI**:

- Knowledge and experience implementing **behaviour support plans**:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate
- Reliable transport and current driver’s licence

**Desirable**:

- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $33.00 - $42.00 per hour
