We are urgently seeking honest and compassionate male casual support workers to join our team for a variety of clients in Perth eastern suburbs.

**About the Role**

In your role as a Support Worker, you will provide assertive outreach support to our cohort of clients to achieve independence and develop professional friendships within their homes and communities.

You will be responsible for supporting and motivating them to positively improve their physical and mental health, develop connections with the community and achieve their goals. Your role also includes promoting and demonstrating positive behaviour, learning experiences, and skill development to your clients.

You will respect the cultures, privacy, and dignity of the clients throughout your duties in this role.

**Your key duties**:
These include, but are not limited to:

- Community Participation: assisting with social and community outings and activities, shopping or GP/specialist appointments.
- Activities of Daily Living: Assistance with daily life tasks, personal care needs
- domestic duties: assistance with meal preparation/eating, general cleaning, laundry etc
- Medication administration duties.
- develop a rapport with and have effective working relationships with both clients and team members.
- Recording of progress/shift notes, incidents, and goal reporting, including timesheets.

**Qualifications & experience**:

- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- NDIS Worker Induction Module Certificate
- COVID-19 Infection Control Certificate
- Drivers Licence (minimum P2)
- Comprehensive car insurance
- First Aid & CPR Certificates
- Certificate IV is desirable but not required

**Salary**: $29.00 - $45.95 per hour
